If I had known this I would not have booked in the first place. When we entered we were greeted by an elderly lady who gave us the key and told us the room was up the steps, not shown to our room. Com and didn’t expect this! Couldn’t gain access til 4 pm so had to wander about til then. Alarm bells rang when messaged by the pub to ask us to pay cash for our stay.
